The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini. It's a good read and an emotional one too. Historically accurate too, up to some point.

I don't read as much now but when I was a kid I was a huge dragon nerd, I read all four of the Eragon books, I also read the wings of fire series for a long time.

I read pretty often, I enjoy reading western type books, usually fiction, typically for leisure. I also read quite a few life lesson or belief type books just to extend knowledge on how to handle different scenarios and learn different cultural elements.
